Darren Lynn Bousman’s Nunsploitation Horror ‘St. Agatha’ Gets New Trailer

Darren Lynn Bousman’s new nunsploitation horror film St. Agatha just got a new trailer.  Darren is the director of Saw II, III, IV,  Repo, The Devil’s Carnival, and Abattoir.  Based on the new trailer, the movie looks like the nunsploitation film that horror fans want and need.

St. Agatha was written by Andy Demetrio, Shaun Fletcher, Sara Sometti Michaels, and Clint Sears. The movie stars Sabrina Kern, Carolyn Hennesy, and Courtney Halverson.  UnCork’d Entertainment is set to distribute but no release date has been announced.

Synopsis: Set in the 1950s in small-town Georgia, a pregnant young woman named Agatha seeks refuge in a convent. What first starts out as the perfect place to have a child turns into a dark layer where silence is forced, ghastly secrets are masked, and every bit of will power Agatha has is tested as she learns the sick and twisted truth of the convent and the odd people that lurk inside its halls.
